Regrets are one of the few things that can really eat a person piece by piece. Over time they only seem to grow and I've heard that regrets are the only thing you can think about when your life "flashes before your eyes." More like, exactly what DIDN'T happen in your life "flashes." So even when you think you have gotten over a regret, you know that it has never truly left you. Unfortunately one of my many regrets, is being so forgiving.
